The Asekhauno Family || A Pullen Park Family Session

The Asekhauno family was referred to us by their friends the Satterlys; it took me a little while, but about four hours after our initial consultation, I remembered that dad Char was at Gabby's first birthday party with little Mr. Liam. The two are the same age, now 18 months, and mom Jackie wanted some family photos to document Liam's endless cuteness. We had a beautiful morning in Pullen Park, and although Liam was a little restless, we got some great shots before the park started to fill up. Liam loves trains and must have run through the defunct train car in the park about a dozen times before we managed to snatch him up in front of it, and every time the park's little train ran around near us, his eyes snapped to it, and he waved to all the people on it. He was adorable, and I'm glad to share the whole family's beautiful images below--enjoy them! More on Facebook.

The Satterly Family || A North Topsail Beach Family Session

You guys may recognize the Satterly family from Gabby's first birthday party back in the spring--they were all so great to work with for that event that when Gabby's mama, Nikki, asked me how I felt about driving out to North Topsail beach to do a beach session for them, I had no hesitations about saying yes! The beach was super quiet for our Friday afternoon session, and the overcast skies made the light diffuse, even, and dreamy. While we were getting set up, Nikki and Jeff shared with me that they were actually married in the exact same house they had rented for this family vacation! I'm a sucker for nostalgia like that, so it made the shoot feel extra-special for me. I have to admit that I had a really hard time choosing which images to share here because I like so many of them so much! Hope you guys enjoy them as much as I do. More on Facebook.

The Lloyd Family || An Oak View Park Maternity & Family Session

The Lloyd family is expecting their second child, a little girl, very soon, and Mama wanted to commemorate the pregnancy with maternity and family photos before the little lady appears. We were joined at Historic Oak View County Park by Grandma and Grandpa, who helped keep the soon-to-be big brother occupied while I focused on his mom and dad. This is a fantastic location, and the light on the beautiful Saturday afternoon of our shoot was fantastic. Enjoy all the below images of this beautiful family! More on Facebook.
